Don’t Skip This Step When Grilling Your Isernio’s Sausages!

We love that smoky flavor and charred exterior as much as you do, but if you’re cooking Isernio’s sausages this summer, don’t just toss ’em on the grill. Our sausages are extremely lean, and in order to preserve the texture and ensure they’re cooked through, it’s best to use our tried-and-true boil method and then finish them on the grill to get that browned, flavorful exterior.

The result is a juicy sausage that’s perfectly cooked.

Here’s how the boil method works.

First, fill a pan with enough water to submerge your sausages and bring it to a boil.

Next, place the sausages in the pan, cover it, and turn off the heat. Allow the sausages to sit in the water for 7 minutes.

Finally, drain the sausages. At this point you can finish them by browning in a pan with oil or grill them for that flame-kissed flavor you love.

Frank Isernio even did a video demonstration of the whole process. Check it out below!
